Enrollment Information for Summer 2015 Dance Camps
Our summer dance camps are designed to be a fun and exciting introduction to the wonderful world of dance for children who love to move their bodies to the music. Each camp is organized around a specific child-friendly theme and designed for a specific age group. Camps have a limited number of students so that each student can receive the personalized attention he or she needs. Older dancers and those with dance training are encouraged to take intensives or clinics to improve their developing skills and master those tricky moves they love to do.
Want a FULL-DAY dance camp? Sign Up for the Lunch Hour option. Dancers bring their lunch and stay at the studio during the hour between the AM and PM camps.
Half-Day Camps · 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. OR 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. · Includes approximately 1 and 1/2 hours of dance instruction per day · Includes instruction for 2 or 3 theme-based dances · Includes a personalized outfit (t-shirt and accessory and/or makeup & hair) for Friday’s demonstration · Includes a healthy snack and juice · Students need to wear clothes which are comfortable and allow full body movement for dancing or exercising. Currently enrolled dancers should wear their leos or other appropriate dance clothes. Sports/work-out clothes, loose cotton shorts or capris, and t-shirts are perfect for dance camp. No blue jeans or blue jean shorts allowed. Hair needs to be pulled back. Students will need dance shoes (ballet, tap, or jazz) for their specific camps. · Some camps include a short demonstration on Friday for parents, friends, and family to come and see what we’ve been studying all week. The performance will be too cute!!!
